What is Waxing?
The process of removing body hair at the root by using a covering of wax, to adhere to the hair, then removing this covering, pulling out the hair from the follicle.
What are the Benefits to Waxing?

How Long do the Results Last?
​Hair will not grow back in the treatment area for about 4 - 6 weeks. Some clients may start to see regrowth within a week due to some of their hair being on a different hair growth cycle.
How Many Treatments are Needed?
Most clients will see the best long term results from their waxing services between 3- 6 treatments. This is dependent upon your own body's person human hair growth stages & your personal waxing goals. The technician may suggest many different aftercare options to help with the treatment process.

Average Time Per Treatment?
1 Treatment takes about 20 minutes to 1 hour​ depending on the area.
How Often Can This be Done?
For the best results treatments are suggested to be done every 4-5 weeks or until hair has stopped growing back.
What Should/Shouldn't I Do Before My Treatment?
​Don't:

Workout for 24 hours after treatment

Exfoliate the waxed area for 24 hours after treatment
-
Avoid sunlight/ UV rays, swimming pools, beaches and very hot showers for a minimum of 24 hours after a waxing
-
No shaving in between waxing appointments! This will interrupt the waxing process by stimulating the hair to grow again.

Apply and oils, lotions or creams to the area before your appointment

Try not to use any perfumed creams or lotions for a couple of days to decrease skin irritation

Avoid scheduling your appointment right before, during or just after your menstrual cycle, otherwise the procedure may feel very painful

Do:

Let your hair grow out 1cm before your appointment
-
Give the area a good cleansing/cleaning before you come to your appointment (but dont apply any creams or oils on the area before your waxing)
-
wear soft, comfy clothing around the area being waxing to healp reduce any redness or burning.

Invest in a good water-based moisturizer to apply to your waxed areas post treatment. This will help to hydrate & nourish the skin as well as prevent clogged pores, caused by many of those oil-based products. (clogged pored create ingrown hairs)
