What is a Facial?

A blend of multiple skin care treatments applied to the face, including steam, exfoliation, extraction, serums, lotions, lymphatic drainage, masks, peels, and massaging techniques.

Most clients will see the best long term benefits from facial services between 3- 10 treatments. This is just dependent upon each persons personal goals. The technician may suggest many different aftercare options to help with the treatment process.

Average Time Per Treatment?

1 Treatment takes about 45 minutes to 1 hour​ & 15 minutes depending on the service.

How Often Can This be Done?

Treatments can be done once a week for best results. Overtime many clients come to experience such great long term affects that they don't need to come in as frequently.

What Should/Shouldn't I Do Before My Treatment?

​Don't:

  • Try to keep the newly treated area out of the sunlight and UV rays the day before & after a treatment, it may negatively impact the skin. Make sure to check with your facial technical for the best aftercare instructions before leaving your appointment.

  • Clients are NOT to drink any alcohol the day before, of & after each treatment.

  • Don't drink any caffeine the day of a treatment

  • Don't wax within 24 hours of your facial

  • Don't come to your appointment with irritated/ rashy/ stubbly (especially for men) skin

  • Don't use exfoliation products the day before & after a treatment

  • Make sure if you do need a eyelash extension full set or fill, you get it done at least 3 days before your facial.

  • Don't get your eyelash extensions done for at least 3 days after a facial

  • Don't try to pop pimples or excessively clear out blackheads before a treatment, this can hyper-inflame the skin. 

  • Don't get any botox injections done for a least 48 hours before or after a treatment 

 

Do:

  • You must drink a good amount water the day of your treatment & again after each treatment to help keep your skin hydrated.

  • Bring along with you your current skincare products to discuss a plan for your skin!
